Montana Memories (Part 1)

Montana Memories

Let me take you on a journey
To the state where I was raised
With mountains tall and snow capped
And meadows where elk graze

The skyline goes forever
Stretching from east to west
Painted by cotton clouds
Gracing sunsets that are the best

The rivers flow from the snow caps
Rippling with water crystal clear
They light the dreams of fishermen
And render big fishing tales to hear.

The wonder of the national parks
That are on the borders of the state
Display a daily concert of beauty
For rich memories to be made.

Geysers steaming born of heat
From deep in earth's crust
Pour out majestic fountains
To see them is a must

To see the powerful Yellowstone
Drop in a raging waterfall
Reminisces of galant pageantry
On display for to see for all.

Then there is the Madison
Winding effortlessly as if in place
Painting each mountain valley
With elegance and grace

I could talk for endless days
Of my memories created there
But you should take the time to visit
Building your recollections to share
